About Us
    Abigail has been caring for and training dogs since she was a child.  She began training and showing her family's whippet in Junior Showmanship at age 12 (she later earned an AKC obedience title as well).  When she was 14 she purchased her first competition dog, Ch. Foxford Tommy Beresford.  It was this dog that truly began Abigail's fascination with dog training and exhibiting.  Abigail now lives in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband, their house dogs, various client dogs and some rehabilitating foster dogs.

    Abigail began training and handling dogs professionally when she turned 18.  She has trained and competed with a variety of breeds but especially enjoys sight hounds and toy breeds.  Some of Abigail's most memorable moments in dogs are winning junior showmanship at the National Whippet Specialty, finishing her first home bred champion and having her beloved dog Tommy  walk down the aisle as the ring bearer in her wedding.  

     In addition to years of training experience Abigail also has 7 years experience working as a veterinary technician and 10 years of experience owning and operating a pet sitting and care business.  She feels maintaining a close relationship with veterinarians is pivotal to working privately with clients and their pets.  She absolutely loves the balance of competing, training dogs and working in and with the veterinary field.  She believes these experiences combine to give her unique opportunities to learn and grow as a pet care professional.  

   Abigail looks forward to continuing her career in the dog fancy and is enjoying every minute of it.  It is truly her passion.
